Move an Object

Move an Object
Select and move an object in an image.

1. In the Layers palette, select the layer containing the object you want to move. If you want to move the entire layer, skip to step 4.

2. Select the Marquee tool .
(You may want to the Magnetic Lasso tool or the Lasso tool depending on the shape of the object you want to select.)

3. Click and drag to select the object you want to move.

4. Select the Move tool .

5. Click your selection and drag to move it to a new location.
